To begin your commission, please provide a high quality image of your pet. If you’re unsure which to choose, we can review your photos together after you fill out the contact form. You can also refer to the helpful guide below for choosing the perfect photo.

Step Four: Confirmation & Creation

After receiving your details, I will contact you to request your reference photo. The creation process takes approximately three to four weeks, allowing time for painting, drying, and varnishing. When the portrait is complete, I’ll share a preview and offer the opportunity for minor adjustments before final varnishing.

Your painting will be shipped with tracking and delivered unframed, allowing you to choose a frame that perfectly compliments your home.

I allow hints of the underpainting to show through. If you’d prefer a fully covered background, please mention this below in the background colour details.

You could describe your pet's personality (gentle, watchful, mischievous, dignified, timid, stubborn, joyful, etc.) and/or add details of your pet's favourite toys. Also, mention if there anything you especially love about their appearance that you would like highlighting, e.g. bright eyes, soft ears, proud posture, etc.
